Meridian Restaurant Bar - Pacific City

We celebrated our one year wedding anniversary here. We got married last year nearby. They treated us so well. We loved the basil lemon spritzer. For small plates we got the ribs (LOVE) and crab cakes (great sauce). For main plates we got the pork chop(WOW) and the salmon (needed more spice or ginger, but tasty). We had such a great night hanging out here.

The restaurant was completely booked, but was unable to order to have it delivered to our room. My wife ordered a medium well steak and received it charred well done. The manila clams was a little to salty but flavorful, and required to eat with the buttery bread it came with to neutralize the saltiness.

I was very disappointed in my meal. There was a last minute change to the menu, fully understandable. However, when your menu states the meal comes with a mound of crab and they deliver a half a crab in the shell...no. They had added $10 to the meal for this crab replacement of the scallops and I didn't eat a bite of crab. I didn't go to pay $80 for a plate of food I have to get filthy to eat. They brought no extra napkins, no tiny fork, just cheap crackers and a bowl. On top of all that, the ONLY thing on the plate that was edible was the steak. A dry piece of meat, no sauces, though to be fair a decent cut cooked properly. The vegetables were not cooked. I literally could not cut the carrots with any knife on the table, including the steak knife. The fancy potatoe base of the plate that was just hashbrown potatoes were so oily they were inedible. That said, my husband's halibut was quite good, just $15-20 overpriced. Our server was friendly and competent. Lastly, I found it odd that a restaurant in that price range would dress its staff like loggers. Flannel plaid and jeans takes away from the experience. The view is nice, but none of it was worth the price.

Been here a couple of times. Have only had appetizers and drinks while enjoying that view next to the big windows. I got the carrot plate appetizer which I really liked. They also had Blanton's Bourbon which was a big thumbs up for me!

I loved everything about this restaurant! The food was delicious and the drinks were very well made. Everyone was so nice and attentive! The facilities and views of the sea are wonderful! I also ordered room service for breakfast and it arrived on time and was so delicious-best **** Mary I? ve had ever! Very recommended!!
