Oxy Oriental - Oxford

Excellent food cooked very well massive choices of food everything perfect Was quite expensive considering we only went there for a quick bite to eat instead of getting a local takeaway but enjoyed the food so worth the money £50 for the meal and a pint and a small wine.

Fabulous place to eat. The staff were very friendly and the owner was amazing. This was on a Tuesday evening for my partners bday. After reading the reviews we were a little apprehensive as some were bad reviews. I disagree with all the bad reviews the place is spotless it's clean and welcoming. The servers,staff and manager/owner were brilliant. The food was very tasty and well topped up. Our only wish was there was sushi available but after speaking with the owner he explained that with covid up and down its still not 100% safe but will resume soon. We respected his honesty. We will definitely be going back. And people that are saying this is expensive I disagree its about right and worth it. Might I add free parking in an Oxford location!!! Well worth the visit.

Beautiful atmosphere; service was awesome despite being packed. I love the grilled ribs (though too spicy) and the samosas. I will recommended the fried rice and the pasta for Africans. It will also be nice to have some deep-fried (and not just air-fried) chips.

I really enjoyed my meal here. The food was fantastic. I'm pescatarian and there was a lot of choice. The Thai squid was amazing. The puddings were bad, not a lot of choice and no labels as to what they were.

Just a family fun get together. Oxy was rather busy when we arrived and there was a queue. Thankfully we had a table booked, this is MOST ADVISED if you're planning to eat here. The resturant manager did appear rushed and rather stressed. He had calmed later as things eased. Sadly the drinks service let the table service down. Five out of the six drinks arrived quickly, we had to stop staff three times to ask for the additional drink. The food (self service) was plentiful, hot and tasty. Lots of chicken dishes. Personally I would have liked a few more vegetable dishes on offer. All in all a good night out despite the drinks hiccup!
