Restaurant bewertenUpdate: Return and more love than before! Mr. T Roll called my name! The Ahi Big Eye Tuna sashimi melted in my mouth! Fantastic dinner! We arrived in 30 minutes before closing and received incredible service! We'll dream of the deluxe sashimit until we have it again! Every piece of fish was fresh in the mouth! The crab Rangoon was fresh and not fat! We also had Mr. T Roll, who probably ordered one for lunch today, was soooo good!
My Friday favorite… deadhead roll and Udon stir fry and they never disappoint… Akira has one of the best Sushi I have come to know. Ermmm I forgot to take a pic of my dead head roll
Front desk service is mid, HOWEVER, the waiters are honestly the best in the area. Also the food (specifically the sushi) is some of the best in Tulsa County. I recommend the Pandemonium roll (super good), also the Loving water roll is way up there too. The house salad is super good too, it and the dressing are flavorful and light. I’ve been here hundreds of times no exaggeration through the many years that Akira has been here and is still my favorite restaurant to this day. I have been all around the US still cannot find sushi that rivals Akira it honestly is the best.
The presentation was amazing! The food was all very good! The only thing I will say is it’s a little odd that the mango fried ice cream cake with chocolate syrup.. not gross just odd, it didn’t taste bad and I get it’s for presentation but might I suggest strawberry or coconut? Anyways everything was very high quality and the service was great! We will be back!
All fish tasted fresh. Toro nigiri was really good. Very attentive service from the waitress. The menu is quite large? they have a wide selection of roles you can choose. I don't like cream cheese, asparagus or jalapeños in my roles myself, so I decided to use simpler roles, but most of the reels contain at least one of them. One of the roles we had ordered had Tempura, which was definitely not made fresh? it was chewing because the dough on the tempura was cold/not fresh. Thai tea was too sweet for me. I feel like they can improve rice. Fish and other ingredients were good quality, but the rice takes the experience down a notch. The Chirashi felt a little small, but I think the price for the amount of fish was okay. Would definitely come back for sashimi and nigiris.
