Uncle Louis' Restaurant & Pizza

I've already stepped inside this place 3 times because of how good the food is here not to mention the ambience of the venue.

If anyone is looking for a great place for Chinese food this is absolutely the place! Service, selection, ambience and price were aok.

Had an excellent Father's Day buffet featuring some breakfast items, healthy salads and a tender roast beef with au jus.For $15.00 a person including juice, tea or coffee and desserts, one cannot go wrong with this dinner. I understand that they will be repeating this buffet on weekends to come, including on Canada's 150th Birthday on July 1st, 2017. We were the only people in the place tonight when we stopped in for supper. We were in a rush so thought we'd give it a try. It is an old diner-style restaurant which is fine because good diner food is awesome. The place smelled off, tables were dirty, but we perservered. The steak sandwich and fries were flavourless, the caesar's salad was lettuce, gloopy dressing and not much else. They must do great pizza or something but we didn't experience it.

Cuisine: Canadian-Italian/Pizza.Food: nothing outstanding, but nothing bad to say either.Service: We were a large group during brunch time, therefore service was understandably a bit sporadic. They also have a brunch buffet that several in our group enjoyed and said was good.Venue: This is not a deluxe or fancy place, good for the budget-oriented. Decor is minimalist and in need of a makeover.Prices: are low to average, but the check can add up if not careful on the extras.
