Restaurant bewertenWhile the location of this restaurant is great for meeting friends from all parts of town, I found my meal quite disappointing. Having never been here before, I ordered a rather ordinary meal Southwestern Chicken Wrap with a side of fries. The fries arrived cold and after I finally flagged down our server, she promptly brought a hot serving. The wrap was quite bland and filled mostly with iceberg lettuce. Could hardly find the chicken and for sure couldn’t find ANY flavour. I left a portion on my plate which is most unusual for me! Although I had a great visit with my friends, I will not eat here again.
I ordered the coconut shrimp bowl and was disappointed with the portion size. Despite the dish being nicely presented with plenty of vegetables and sauce, there were only 5 small shrimp included. For the price of $22, I expected a more generous serving of shrimp. I usually enjoy dining at Clocktower chain restaurants, but I will opt for the fish and chips next time. According to Google, a typical serving of shrimp is 3 ounces, which can range from 12 to 20 small shrimp per person depending on size.
Had a relaxing lunch on the patio. Wait staff was attentive and prompt. Bathroom was very clean. On street parking was not terrible, able to get a spot within about 50 feet of the pub. Meals were quite delicious and nicely presented. Reasonably priced. Would go back again.
The manager and/or head waitresses was great. The others need some work. Food was good. Other tables seemed to move faster than we did. Took a while to even get the table cleaned, and then get some water, and menus. Others seemed to get more attention than we did. Cleaning tables should not be a priority when people are waiting to order. Having said all this the food was good. Lots of TVs and sports on. It was not super busy but steady following all the pride activities in town.
I recently dined at this restaurant and had a great experience. However, as a self-proclaimed nacho connoisseur, I was disappointed to find that they now add unmelted goat cheese to their nachos. If you prefer traditional nachos without this ingredient, be sure to mention it when ordering.
