The Lake Village Bakery - Osoyoos

AND I would walk 500 more, just to be the one who's first at the Lake Village Bakery's Door. Yes, this place is THAT good. Staff are fantastic (shout out to Shannon who runs this place and sacrifices so much to keep our bellies full of delicious treats)If you've never had one of the croissants, get there early and pick one up - they are the best I've ever had (I will fight you for the last croissant if I must). Their loaves make my world go round, my big old mouth just don't want none unless you got CINNAMON BUNS hun. I feel very passionately about carbohydrates and this place will NOT let you down. Make a stop at the LVB next time you pass by and tell em SLICK BABS sent you.

Everything I think is sourdough based...NOTHING is bad. a little on the pricey side, but very well worth it

The sourdough bagels are delicious. Buy them every Thursday. Second favourite is the butter tarts, yum. Love seeing the lineups waiting for this great little bakery to open. Go early.

During our time in Osoyoos we has more than a few items from the Village Bakery. Everything was very good and made with care. I had a brief conversation with Shannon the baker and she obviously takes great pride in what she does starting with the locally milled flour that she uses.

The baked goods are awesome and the quality of the bread made in the correct sourdough recipe makes this place very special and I recommend that you try it.
