Shakai Sushi - Orlando

Love this place! I've been here for many years. The atmosphere is wonderful. Service always fabulous. Eat always excellent! Best Happy Hour ever! The selection and pricing is so great with amazing roles and food.

This was the best sushi place in DT Orlando! I'm a big advocate for supporting hidden gems in any city I stay in and coming back to Orlando, I'm shocked by how affordable but high quality the food was here. There were a ton of options to choose from and the tuna, salmon, and yellowtail sashimi (my must have at any sushi restaurant) were very fresh. The eel and sweet shrimp were my favorite though, I'd definitely come back for that. The service was incredible and so friendly. Our server Brian was knowledgeable and even recommended our party a sake to specifically pair with our sushi. We had such a wonderful experience, if you're ever in the Orlando area I highly recommend checking Shakai out!!!!!!!!

You really cannot beat their happy hour. They opened at 5pm on Thursday so when we got there it wasn't too crowded. By six the place was pretty much full. Great sushi and appetizer options on the HH menu. Drink options were okay, and their tap water was pretty awful but I ordered pellegrino. Bill was only $70 for five rolls, two apps, and 6 drinks so that's a win. We did notice food service getting some what slower as they got more crowded but was a minor inconvenience. Bathrooms are small and can probably benefit from a deep cleaning.

Great lil find!! Service was excellent, food was tasty, and there's plenty to satisfy on the Happy Hour menu!!

We ordered the sumo steak with fried potatoes . What we recieved was a steak and French fries. My suggestion is to indicate what you are actually serving, in no way is fried potatoes supposed to be French fries. On top of that the fries were cold. I am not sure who 's idea it was to make tempura asparagus, but it was a big disappointment. We also ordered the Teriyaki chicken, which was decent. But the temperature of the food was cold. Not sure if the food is already made and sitting there
