Restaurant bewertenProbably my favorite bar in Orlando. The mood is very old. Talk style to enter with a hidden door. The cocktail menu was great. Froze on ****. Much wine. 50% in the Happy Hour. Our bartender Alana was great. When she asked for a bartender selection, she made a passion to drink fruit rum with cut jalapeños.
What an incredible experience! We were greeted by the manager, Dan, who was so informative about the history of the building, gave us clues for entering, helped make drinks, and even showered our bride-to-be with rose petals for the perfect photo! Kira took especially good care of us, was kind, and even rushed to make sure our second order of drinks made it in with minutes to spare before the end of happy hour. This was one of the highlights of our trip!
One of my co workers wanted to celebrate her birthday and chose this place. It was my first time here and we had such a wonderful time! We came on a Tuesday for the Burlesque Show and it was busy, but we stationed ourselves at the bar, as all the tables were taken, and proceeded with our order. I'm grateful that we had Roxanne and Lindsey taking care of us, because they made our night. They were adorable, friendly, and sweet they did their best to make sure everyone was being helped. Customer service is essential, and they did a phenomenal job! This is a fun place for photos, too. The decor was beautiful, especially since they still had some Christmas decorations up. I loved all the lights on the ceiling and wish they'd keep it up all year long, it really adds to the ambiance. But it's still fun seeing what other decorations they had adorning the place even in the bathrooms! I don't drink alcohol, and stuck with kombucha the whole night but they do have juices, too. Next time, I'll request a mocktail, since they have some fun ingredients to mix there. My girlfriends did enjoy their libations, though especially the Bathtub Gin which comes with a mini rubber ducky you can take home. We also ordered food: Pepperoni Flat Bread (incredibly tasty with the perfect crunch and cheesy gooey ness). Dates (crispy prosciutto on the outside stuffed with chèvre). The Mathers Platter (a mixed charcuterie board of cheese, fruits, nuts, bread, and meat). Although it took them almost two hours to get The Mathers Platter to us, we patiently waited and continued to enjoy our time there. Watching the Burlesque dancers kept us occupied, haha. Those ladies were spectacular! I look forward to coming back and trying other dishes on their food menu, and hopefully I'll see my new favorite bartenders again too!
We had a great time there. It had an upscale prohibition vibe, but the dress code was varied. I had the bath tub, substituted for vodka. It was great! I did get to keep the ducky as souvenir.
I dont know why i waited so long. Friday night after Broadway the line wasnt too long when we go there. Six of us were able to get in and sample several drinks. We had a space available to sit and listen to the sax player. Line for drinks was sort of long but lots of tenders. Large assortment of craft beverages and they were all tasty. Great place would love to come back on a weeknight.
