Restaurant bewertenBrittney (our waiting staff) was absolutely wonderful and very attentive. the decoration was very rustic and a little worn but cozy! it actually reminded us of the northampton inn in, northampton, ma we visited frequently. eating was delicious and plentiful. the parking lot has much to wish but we will go back.
The restaurant is beautiful. only there are too many items missing from the limited menu that are not recommended when the menu is delivered to the table, resulting in expectations that are not fulfilled.
It's been a long time since I was on the Hilltop. I took my mother on a Tuesday night in December and we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the prices were fair, the server was phenomenal, and the place was beautiful and decorated for the holiday. We started with the crab and spinach Di and it was good and the Pita bread was amazing! It was a little crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, buttery and warm. We share the fillet mignon escape, which came with a salad and 2 pages. Everything was delicious, especially the steak. They also get roles for the table. I have a glass of Clos Cabernet and it was really good, especially with the steak. Our server was so nice and attentive. She boxed what we didn't eat and made sure we were through each course before we brought the next one. It was quite empty, but I already have plans to return.
Thank you. Buffet. Reservation. all sounded good. It was a 3 ring circus when we were there. wait an hour to sit. Bowls were empty. The food was stable. Meat was hard. Do yourself a favor .. go You to the Golden Corral .. the food is probably better and the price is less than half of what this place charges. I wish I knew yesterday what I know today.
We recently came back to dinner after a long stay. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our experience. We ordered the fillet Mignon, topped greens, baked potato and mix green salad. The steak was so hard that it could hardly be cut with a steak knife and then it had to chew in great length to swallow it. The crowned greens were too vinegary and overcooked. The salad was tasty and the dinners were good. The appetizer that was a crab, spinach smell like something that was spoiled. Maybe the crab was old. The mosquito wine was flat and not much taste. The only saving grace was service. Our server was attentive. We drew our dissatisfaction with our steak to our server. The manager asked what the problem was, but said nothing had changed where she ordered the meat so she wasn't sure what the problem was. Ours were not the only file at the table and the other one was as hard as ours. We had a table of seven and I know that two are won? A beautiful place to dine, but the food was a great disappointment. I hope Hilltop can strengthen her game. Maybe it was just one night, and unfortunately we were at the reception end.
