Restaurant bewertenI absolutely love fritters, especially empanadillas, so I was thrilled to find this place online. My ex and I visited and she was pleasant and relaxed. We waited in line for a long time, ordered two empanadillas, and waited even longer (no big deal, we took photos and enjoyed the view of the ocean). When we finally received our order, I was excited to try what I hoped would be the best empanadilla of my life, as it was quite large. Unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I realized that it was mostly dough with very little filling, and the dough itself was tasteless. It was a terrible experience. I suppose the place has two stars because of its atmosphere, but the food was awful. I definitely would not recommend it, just as I had warned them.
There may not be much to like about this establishment, but the prices are good and the drinks are excellent. We tried the fish tacos and found them to be delicious, with the fish tasting very fresh. It was a enjoyable experience to have a meal, chat with some friendly locals, and take in the beach view. If you happen to be in the area when they are open, it's worth stopping by for a bite to eat and some drinks.
This restaurant is definitely a local favorite for delicious food and a great atmosphere. It is oceanfront, with hammocks hanging from the palm trees where you can relax and enjoy the ocean breeze and melody.
This place was convenient to seven seas beach and the apartment we were. we had the pastellillos several times. our favorite was the mufungo. they were fresh and very tasty. reasonable prices too.
Visited Pureto Rico with my husband and another couple recently. It was our first time in PR but our friends had been there many times. They said we had to try the best Sangria on the island and so we drove to Guayama to La Casa de los Pastelillos for a mid afternoon snack and cocktail. The location of the restaurant is just beautiful. As you walk up you see the Caribbean. The palm trees, the boats, the breezes, just lovely. Although the restaurant seems popular for its fritters and turnovers with seafood pork other ground meats and plantains, we just ordered a bottle of the red Sangria, called Mi Sueno Morpheus Dream. Delicious! Because we had dinner plans for later, we didn't partake in any of the delicious looking and artfully presented foods that were passing by our table constantly. Very popular place. Beautiful location. As you walk in you seat yourself at any available table and walk up to the counter to place your order. I could see everyone enjoying their meals. I highly recommend this restaurant just based on location and Sangria alone!
