Yamato Steakhouse Of Japan - Opelousas

This is my fiancée and I's favorite restaurant, the food is always amazing and everyone is always so beautiful. Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive tonight, I wish I had asked her name because she definitely deserves a scream! I 100% recommend this restaurant!

I ordered online and was ready within 15 minutes. The prices are reasonable and the food was excellent with one exception. I ordered the Volcano Roll. It had more shredded imitation crab on 6 pieces sushi than I had ever seen. The role itself was good, just too much crab. The picture is all the crab.

Sat twice and food was great both times. The service was a bit ashamed for the first time. Possibly a language barrier, but the second time service was on the point.

The sushi was amazing and the Habachi was really cheap! The staff are also very polite and quick to help you in any way.

The customer service is excellent! We have eaten inside, but have been ordering more take out since COVID. Our order is always correct and the food is always delicious! I highly recommend the hibachi or fried rice. I also love their crawfish rolls, gyoza, and egg rolls!
