Shahi India Grill - Omaha

We had dinner here in April with two other families, and it was a wonderful experience. This high-class restaurant offers a great ambiance and a variety of food options. We ordered several dishes, including starters and appetizers, and everything was delicious. The naan, biryani, and chicken tikka masala were particularly outstanding and are a must-try. We also enjoyed some complimentary desserts, including rasmalai and gulab jamun, which were fantastic as well. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving tasty Indian dishes. The menu leans more towards North Indian cuisine, featuring a good balance of styles and spice levels. I regret not taking pictures of all the dishes because I got caught up in enjoying them. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

They offer a spiciness scale from 1 to 10, and I opted for an 11, which definitely packed a punch. However, I was a bit perplexed by the flavor of the chicken vindaloo I ordered; it was quite sour compared to what I'm used to. I've had this dish several times before, and it didn’t taste like this. Perhaps they've adapted the flavor to local preferences? On a positive note, the rice served with the curry was perfectly cooked. Overall, it’s worth checking out!

I had my first experience at Shahi India Grill, and it definitely surpassed my expectations. Situated in the heart of the city, the restaurant boasts a pleasant ambiance. The menu may be limited, but each dish is crafted to perfection. The staff members are friendly and welcoming, making for a delightful visit. This is definitely a must-visit Indian restaurant for families, friends, and dates!

While the 80s called, and they'd like their restaurant decor back, this place has outstanding Indian food. The naan bread is everything it should be, the butter chicken is great, and the coconut flavored dishes are outstanding. We love coming here. The service is also great, with attentive and friendly staff.

This place was amazing! Everything was insanely good and the owner Kamala was the most kind and genuine person we have come in contact with, in a very long time. Best experience!!!
