Restaurant bewertenI really am soooo disappointed ?. I was not expecting to have to write this but here we are. Before I begin, our server was truly amazing and very tentative. My sister and I went today at 12:00, 1/23/2022 hence everything will be fresher ??. All you can eat crablegs, fish, fried oysters, and shrimp. Family style sides were worth more as they always hit. The shrimp was microwaved tasting and the crablegs we 're mushy. We had 3 rounds and every cluster was mushy as we were hoping for the best. My total was $101.00 ?. I could of went to Seafood Island but Jumping Catfish (is) was an all time favorite. After going to the counter wanting to run out the door with our heads down in defeat we voiced our opinions and told them we don 't think it 's worth the $89, we were simply told well I can 't do anything about that but I 'll tell the cook and you can call the owner when they get in tonight ?. I know she glared over at our table to discover we had two full plates of crablegs we didn 't even bother to eat. I won 't be back I 'm a first responder in the medical sector and my sister builds cars we work hard for our money, I wish establishments would honor that. You won 't stay open if you don 't. ????????
How did I live in Olathe for nearly two decades after moving FROM the swampy south where swimming with gators was normal and frog legs were a commodity and I JUST experienced this slice of heaven last week? Upon questioning my mother about my apparent sheltered upbringing, she explained, well, I came here often with friends, you must 've been at soccer practice. After her cute little chuckle, I cried, this is blasphemous, Mother, and I am appalled by your actions! She asked, so do you want your birthday lunch there then? Yes, please. Thanks, mom, I replied grinning ear to ear. There is a reason this place is rated 5 stars, and if you 're nearby or just passing through, this is a meal you will not regret nor forget; and you 'll probably be planning the family 's next night there while boxing up any leftovers). The service is impeccable. These ladies and gents have mastered their crafts of hosting, serving, or bussing/sanitization; and the hospitality is what stood out to me as the best table service I have EVER had this is no exaggeration. Be careful as you enjoy the free beans, slaw, and hush puppies because, in my humble opinion, I could fill up on those three alone and be happy. This is impertinent info if you plan on ordering an all you can eat platter of choice. I got two crab leg clusters with mashed potatoes $26.99 before tax), and it 'll be hard to persuade me to order anything different until I 'm burnt out on it. Please note: all you can eat crab legs are $69.99. For my birthday, our lovely waitress sweetened my taste buds with warmed apple cobbler on the house) adorned with a single birthday candle, and I paid a few bucks for it to be accompanied with two scoops of vanilla ice cream. Leaving anything less than 20% gratuity would have been disrespectful as she definitely deserved it. We paid at the hostess stand on the way out; and it was a definite unbutton the jeans when getting in the car type of meal. 10/10 would recommend to a friend and 10/10 we 'll be back again! See y 'all there! Cheers!
Wild game is just not my favorite, but this is the place we were for a vatertag. I had that huh that was good. I didn't leave a starving. the place is in the regular busy, parking is good, service is great.
I'm from the south and I know good south kitchen. none of the deep fried items we ordered was excessively broken or greasy, so we could actually taste the food. this place randomly at a visit from another state, but we will definitely see them up when we come back. great food and great service.
Chris even brought me a towel to cover my baby, as she was in my lap, so that crab juice would not happen to her. I love going to a place that not only looks good at me, but also my baby.
