If they don't have a DoD ID, they must find someone to be their guide, so they can be on basic or catch when they are out of basic. the chicken breast is wonderful. they're better. the kartoffel salad is so. the ribs are large and fleshy with good taste. the people in the office hate it because there is no mistrust that they have brought bbq back to lunch. safe beats taco bell!
Big bbq to lunch! I went out of my office today at 1215 to get a regrettable cheeseburger from sonic. instead I smell bbq! the truck of smokey ray was at the building next to the wind. all thoughts of crispy cheeseburger fled. I had a pork sandwich with baked beans and potato salad. that was a fine-drawn pig. the mild sauce had a little attitude that was great! the potato salad was excellent, with a beautiful creamy (I think it was a mustard/majo mix,) and quite plain as I like it. they were a bit more than I usually like, but I ate every bit. this great meal, including a dose koks, was...read more
As to home! coming from south, I love pulled gay and smokey rays can do it right. they are great. I work at tinker and can't wait until they show up on the parking lot bx.
Good BBQ. Honestly I don 't eat a lot of BBQ, but when I do, I love to enjoy every bite and with this BBQ, I did. I ordered the Ribs with potato salad, slices of bread and a drink. The ribs were smoked perfectly, not too smoky and oh so tender! They had just great flavor. These are dry rub ribs with sauce if you want, hot or mild, I liked both sauces but felt the meat didn 't actually need it. My only meh was the potato salad, it was edible but with ribs this good, I expected it to taste better but it wont turn me away from returning for the meat. This is a BBQ truck that travels and they have locations on their website, if you happen to be in the area, give this place a try!! I...read more
I’ve a number of catch-up reviews to post, this is one. Back on 19 December, I was done with work around noon, and as I drove off Tinker, I saw the Smokey Ray’s truck in the parking lot. I’ve wanted to try them for a while, so I stopped and scored a slab of ribs and sauce. Those were some darn fine ribs. I prefer my ribs smoked wet, and these have a rub, with one of the ingredients slightly masking the rib flavor. They were pretty tender and had really good flavor, though. I actually ate a couple of them right there in the parking lot, since I had skipped breakfast! We heated them up in the oven for dinner and they hadn’t lost any flavor. I think I gave around $20 for the slab...read more
