Osteria Monte Grappa - OJAI

We spoke with some locals and recommended this place and OMG... All right! We went at 6:00 and got two seats at the bar. Everything that came out looked so good. We got the Insalata zarina, Pizza del bob and Ezzelina. My favorite was the pizza del bob, but my friend loved the Ezzelina. The insalata zarina had all fresh ingredients from the peasant market this day and the Ezzelina had homemade noodles! In any case stop in : can not wait to eat our remains!

Amazing place, great hospitality and the waitress are so warm. A great cry after “ROSEY”, she was so warm and hospitable and ensured that we are properly supplied for all our meals. This was our only Italian restaurant experience and made sure we had a great time. We liked everything from drinks to food. If you are visiting Ojai please visit this place!!

We went to Ojai for a date night and decided to dinner in Osteria Monte Grappa based on some of the reviews I've read. This restaurant is located on the main street of Ojai and street parking is available. The atmosphere was very comfortable and cozy. The menu was varied with numerous salad selections. We started with vegetable soup, salad and bread. We had the Squash/Kürbis Ravioli and the beef with Polnta. Both were delicious.

Loud but we appreciated we could eat indoors on real plates. Ojai is still following stricter covid social and dining rules so this was nice. Food was delicious. I had the squash ravioli, another guest had shrimp. The squash ravioli was pillowy and melted in my mouth. Highly recommend. Our friend didn't like the sauce on her halibut but perhaps just not to her taste. We had to wait 1/2 hour on a Wednesday night. Not too bad.
