Restaurant bewertenIt was terrific as usual I had a beautiful piece of pie and a big old tenderloin and fries and I brought my wife home a big old piece of pie too and Mary was the waitress and as usual she did her very very best couldn't ask for a better place to I know what I'm doing. We always argue too much that was one of us
Ogden is the lucky one to have such a nice restaurant! Our lunch visit was in quest of the ultimate pork tenderloin and we certainly found a good one.... maybe not my favorite but close to it. Clean dining room and very friendly staff made the (lengthy) wait tolerable. I am eager to return and try the pies. I DID RETURN! Patty Melt Outstanding! Pie? A masterpiece of flavor and beauty. Service cost on the high side. Prepare for the small-town pace and don't choke on the price. It's worth it.
Our first visit. I had heard such great things about the Lucky Pig and for the most part it was really good. My wife had the pulled pork, seasoned with Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. The pulled pork had enough smoke and seasoning to balance the sweet BBQ sauce and it was really good. I had the Award Winning pork tenderloin which was huge. A true flattened boneless pork chop. HUGE! The bun was too small to easily eat this sandwich. Typical Iowa style deep fried tenderloin, it was OK. The fries were battered which I enjoyed. If I go back I will get the pulled pork.
The food is great. It is BBQ and comfort food at the same time staff is super friendly and have lots of fun. Couldn't have eaten here anymore! Kid loved it too. Just a great restaurant and a bar.
First of all their homemade pita chips are to die for, when combined with their spinach artichoke dip get about as close to Nirvana as possible. For an entree I had their pork tenderloin sandwich, thin and crispy and huge. Plenty of social distancing, but nobody wears masks. We got our food to go.
