La Quinta Inn Odessa

My only issue is I called ahead and reserved 3 rooms. I used my chime card to reserve it well after a 12 hour drive I find out (After waiting in the lobby for 10 minutes) that they don't except chime, pay pal, cash app, etc. they don't even accept cash. just a FYI for people going to stay there !

Nice comfy firm mattress. Great pillows. Clean and new rooms. remodeled and nice. Good value. Staff is friendly. A little place to take the dog with bagging station. Decent parking by the room. A bit noisy with the train but not the hotels fault. Good working microwave. Clean carpet. All in all, indicative of the La Quinta brand.

This is a much older hotel, but they have made a decent effort to update. It was clean and the hotel personnel were exceptionally accommodating. They have nice breakfast- the usual waffles, juice, coffee, etc. and they also had crockpots with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, potatoes, and gravy. I can't give a 4 or 5 just because it's such an old hotel.

We stayed there november 14th. Cathi, the night desk attendant, was sublime. Efficient, courteous, and professional, she helped me out with a random and urgent request, without batting an eye and without neglecting her other duties or guests of the hotel. Shes management and corporate material. Our room was spotless and comfortable. I highly recommend it.

When people say they have clean rooms and comfortable beds here I'm wondering if they have a whole different side of the hotel I am not currently staying in. This room is the definition of filth and I am mortified my 4 month old has to stay here tonight. For starters when we got here their were dog hairs all over the comforter and dirt stains. Btw I have photo documented everything because at almost 200 dollars for this stay, I'm unsure if I'm on a candid camera show or if the maids here have zero knowledge how to clean. Anyway, I inspect the towels and find a booger or larvae of some sort. Either one is equally disgusting. Someone's human hair on the face towel by the sink. (Dirty blond color , I'm bald it ain't mine) The coffee area is full of stains, the set up on the desk in the corner where they keep flyers and shit is full of dirt and dead insect corpses. They didn't have any more rooms available so my husband asks for clean bedding because god forbid anyone come do it for us... so he strips the bed and we find piss stains and blood??? And the mattress is caving in and lumpy in several spots. Once again, I have photo documentation of everything. Please save your 200 bucks and sleep in your car. I am fully clothed sleeping tonight, we all are... btw we've been driving day and night to get to our destination. You really think people want to be making their own beds at 2am and not having a clean room? This is bullshit.
