Restaurant bewertenLocal hole in the wall. The building is totally worn out. They used to love their lunch buffet, but they told me they didn't bring it back after the pandemic. Summer 2022 I have seafood soup and larvae (photos). Could have used more salad pieces. Both were excellent. Spice Level varies a bit, make sure to discuss spice level when you order the menu. I used the common spice tablet I'm not sure I would do it again. Instead, I demand a fresh shot of Sriracha and fish sauce on the side. Next visit I got the Beef Drunken Noodles (picture). It was good, but prolly won't order again. I don't like many restaurants now with wide places noodles instead of regular wide noodles.
I put my order over the phone and my order was shrimp fried rice. When I came and asked about my order, they said $18 and I was so good. $18 shrimp fried rice is unheard. When I got it, the bowl was small and there were only five shrimps in the whole thing. The food here is overpriced, although it tastes pretty good, but the money is not worth it. I had less. This was my first and last time in this place, unless any other restaurant in the state is closed.
If you want to be authentic, you might get what you want. I've eaten this restaurant for over 20 years. I always order Larb and/or Nomtok. I was polite and told the owner that the court was out. In fact, I ate there two days in a row, hoping that the day was before a bad day. The owner said if you don't like the food, then dinen somewhere else?. That's why I'm posting this review now. If you want GOOD authentic Thai food go to Thai from Waugh Chapel or Bangkok Gardens. What a shame. Bad business.
I've been here for over 10 years. Unfortunately, prices have risen enormously and food is not the same. The family feels that the restaurant went earlier. The owner (or the man who looks like the owner) does not speak or welcome you. In addition, they made a mistake and left the coconut cream sauce and torn seeds from Thai sweet sticky rice. I was home when I noticed. I called the restaurant to notify her of the mistake, and they told me to drive back to get it. No apology or service recovery, i.e. free dessert offered at the next visit. I will drive Furthur for better service and lower prices instead.
I?ve had my fair share of Pad Thai and the one I ordered from this place did not taste like Pad Thai at all. I ordered chicken Pad Thai and it seem to have pieces of pork in it, which really confused me. I also ordered Spring Rolls which left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. I don?t think I will come back but I would say it?s worth a try to generate your own opinion.
