Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken - Ocala

Always very good food. Need another place they are always super busy. Long wait, but always fresh and good.

Never heard of this restaurant until driving by. So glad we stopped at this local favorite. Really busy, but very efficient staff keeps lines moving and everyone happy. Absolutely fantastic chicken and sides. Good prices and large portions. So glad we stopped and are looking forward to the next visit.

Two weeks ago, on January 25th, I chose Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken as my drive-thru meal after a long day that I did not want to finish off by having to cook dinner. I must say, Lee’s did not disappoint! Their fried chicken is satisfyingly crispy and I highly recommend choosing their flavorful mashed potatoes and gravy as one of your side items. The individuals working the drive-thru at this establishment were very polite and enthusiastic to meet the needs of their customers. It was also noticeable that this establishment as well as their employees were taking careful precaution to follow proper Covid-19 procedures as all drive-thru employees were wearing masks and gloves. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken looking for a convenient, yet delicious drive-thru dinner meal. I will definitely be back!

Would give 5 stars but they don't have spicy pepper sauce anymore which i love on my chicken.

Well roasted chicken and sides. On the day I visited, there was only one vehicle in front of me, not too busy. When I was paid for my food, I was told that it would be 3 minutes for chicken. I waited 10 minutes in the car and then went in and had to wait 10 minutes before the employee brought me my food in the lobby. In the meantime, the drive was constantly moving and people, in and out of the lobby with their commands. Not sure why my order lasted so long, I didn't order anything special.
