Porta Da Vila - Óbidos

We stopped here on several occasions for coffee, always good and reasonably priced. On the last day of our holiday we stopped for a meal and wished we had tried it on the previous occasions too. The chicken meal was gorgeous, as was the sausage meal and more reasonable priced than the restaurants within the walls of Obisbo castle. The staff are friendly and the ice cream is also worth trying, again more reasonably priced than within the walls of the castle.

Beautiful food lovely location, very pleasant staff, spoke English helped with the menu . service very quick.

I was looking for a good place to have lunch. Within the walls prices were high and restaurants empty. I ventured 100m outside the walls and to my delight found this lovely restaurant. The service was excellent and the prices somewhat lower than those within the walls. My server's name was Telmo and he made sure I enjoyed the local cuisine.

We stopped here for lunch, on our way out of Obidos. The service was prompt and friendly. There was a good choice of food available on the menu and we were happy with what we ordered (omelette, Portuguese scrambled egg and chicken nuggets for the kids). Reasonably priced. We'd eat here again, if we were in the area.

I had a nice experience here! You cannot leave without tasting the traditional cherry liquor in a small chocolate mug!! They also have a good assortment of liquors on sale : Coffee is good as well!
