Restaurant bewertenWe went out on a limb to try out this random cuban joint, and I'm so glad we did. The place is cozy and the employees are warm and generous. All of that is just an added bonus because the food is incredible! I had my first cuban sandwich here, and I am hooked. The lovely lady running the place put a smile on my face, gave me delicious coffee for free and shared stories and some cooking tips. I wished this place was closer so i could visit more often, but im definietly recommending this to everyone i know!
Food is fabulous, loved everything about it. Mango shake is awesome. We will return for sure and will bring a bunch of entertainers with us. You are on our face book. Friendly owners and chatted with most of th customers who were nice and friendly.
We have a group of ladies trying this little restaurant for lunch. The portion is big and the waitress is so friendly. The food is fresh and tasty. Give it a try when you are around the area.
We are Cubans. We have been trying to find a place here in the Toronto area where the taste and ambiance could really awake old memories from our grandmas kitchen when we were kids. Well, we didn't have to look any longer because we found it here at the Cafe Havana. The taste is exactly the one we as Cubans were expecting. The menu is precisely what we used to eat, nothing fancy just simply real. Shredded beef with tomato source called Ropa Vieja with the rice cooked together with black beans and fried plantain could easily be the best I have ever tried since I was a kid in Havana. The sizes are well proportioned and the familiarity of the personnel makes you feel like you are eating at a friend's house in the island. If you want to try the real tropical Cuban flavor here in the Great North , don't miss this amazing place.
I went last weekend with the family for lunch and really enjoyed this place. The food is very good, I orderded the cuban sandwich and the mamey shake was my favorite. My wife tried tamales and fried plantains with ropa vieja and was delicious as well. If you would like to try Cuban food, this is a place you should go, just be patient food is fresh made so it will take more than 5 minutes to have your plate in the table, but is worth it.Super friendly customer service, Thank you for the wonderful lunch and attention. Looking forward to come back to try some sweets with a cuban coffe.
