Ginza Japanese Sushi - Oakland

A little EXPENSIVE BUT the flavours was there eni was Ebi etc . Next time I'm going to keep the specials ???Food: 5/5

The experience was decent. The staff is extremely friendly and the sushi is satisfactory, not the greatest but good enough.

The food at this restaurant was of very low quality, it had a bad smell and I ended up throwing away $100 worth of food.

THIS PLACE SUCKS, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED The worst sushi I've had in 20 years. Nasty....shame on you for serving nasty old sushi, unbelievable! Apparently many people have no ideal what quality sushi is. This place is not quality, fresh or worth the drive...10 minutes from me. I should have known it was going to be bad when i saw the sushi chef pick up a fish filet and smell it twice to make sure it wasn't bad, we had three rolls, three nigiri, one tofu, one Sapporo, one large sake, she brought us a small, charged for large. Cost: $100 I tipped $10 which they were lucky to get. I actually felt ripped of when i was leaving. THIS PLACE SUCKS, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED

Small sushi spot near Jack London Square. A friend and I ate dinner here on a Friday evening and it wasn't too busy.Parking mostly street parking or you can park in a nearby garage. We opted to park at the garage and walk.Since the restaurant wasn't too crowded, we were able to enjoy a pretty chill meal without any loud music or too much people. I went with the bento box with chicken teriyaki and tempura $17). The chicken teriyaki was good, maybe slightly more on the tangy side. The tempura was my fav crisp in all the best ways. The whole meal was really satisfying. Typically, I'll end up taking leftovers to go but this was so good I didn't have leftovers! My friend felt the same way about her sashimi platter.Service was great as well. Our server was helpful and attentive without being around too much.Overall, a great place for sushi if you're in the area!
