Dog Haus - Oakland

You order via an app and arrive to pick it up. There is no restaurant but rather a dispensary or various different venues under one roof in Oakland. When I arrived my food was waiting and I then drove home to eat it. Great hot dog. I will definitely go again.

Hubby and I decided to try something new for dinner tonight. He had The Hot Chick, I decided to do something different and outside of my comfort zone and got the impossible nuggets. Wow! My taste buds! They were so flavorful and crispy. I had 10 but I could have easily had 10 more. My husband enjoyed his sandwich. He was disappointed it fell apart but he ate it with a fork and barely finished it. It was so much food and he got full so fast. We also enjoyed a side of tots and fries which were just as crispy as the chicken in his sandwich and my nuggets. We can't wait to try something else on the menu next time

Wanted a hot dog and door dashed one and tater tots. Tasted good, but 5 hours later and I have food poisoning. 10/10 would not get again.

The Dog Haus menu intriqued me. In a crowded burger market, it's hard to stand out. I thought Dog Haus's use of Hawaiian King rolls was novel, so I Doordashed them. We ordered a cheeseburger, Holy Aoili burger, tater tots and onion rings. The cheeseburger had a kick to it. Tased like aoili, but the Holy Aoili didn't. Wonder if put the aioli on the wrong burger. In any case, the cheeseburger failed to impress. The patty is completely flattened and cooked well done. If you like your burger thick and juicy, this isn't it. The tots and onion rings were good. Not great, but good. Overall, not a bad burger experience but was hoping for better. Next time I'll try the dogs. That's what I get for ordered burgers from a place called Dog Haus.

What a terrible experience. Don't be fooled like I was thinking this is some cool spot in a food hall. It's a giant corporate kitchen fronting 10 different corporate chains. I walked into the lobby and all you see is a wall of lockers for the dashers to grab from. You order from a kiosk or your phone, and after I placed my order and paid then I was told it would be 30 minutes. I won't make this mistake again.
