Almond Oak - Oakland

Fantastic eating and vibe always... really a gem...big to rico and his whole staff.

It was quiet at 5:30pm for an early dinner. Salads and corn soup were excellent and generous. We had small plates (gnocchi with ragu and grilled asparagus with fried goat cheese) in place of mains. Excellent cocktails. Will definitely return.

First time at the restaurant since the ownership and name changed. Am absolutely delighted to say that everything about Almond and Oak was superlative. Cocktails and food was inventive, extremely tasty and abundant. Service was top notch. Ambience was familiar with the good vibe that Penrose had.

My third time here and it was amazing!!! Loved everything as usual. Fantastic restaurant. Great staff. Amazing owner/Chef!

This was a terrific meal with good service in a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended
