Scratch On Lake - Oak Park

Nice, cozy spot. Live music on Saturday. Good for a group of 4. Bar seating and table service. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The food was good and came out fast. Paid street parking a bit scarce but not terrible. I went as a family. Would like to go back and sit at the bar and hear the music. I recommend you check out this spot.

I am sitting in the restaurant right now eating my food. The place is good. The servers are very professional and polite. The food came out promptly and it is good. Nothing to brag about but is it not bad by any means. Good atmosphere overall. I read the reviews and was skeptical but in my opinion it is a nice place to sit down and eat. I wouldn't drive to Oak Park just to eat here but if I was in the area I'd definitely stop by again. Note this is my opinion and my opinion only, everyone else has their own reasons for liking or not liking things but I'd recommend it for sure.

Horrible, don’t believe the reviews! Fries were so hard, I thought I might break a tooth! Service not that great, and just all around crappy restaurant! Was there yesterday, would give it zero stars if I could.

Service was very friendly but food was average, imo.

We walked in and said 8 people, 3 adults 5 kids. Most of the kids went to the bathroom and the waitress couldn’t count to 8 after repeatedly telling her. The tall blonde waitress was rude, never smiled and gave me weird looks. She shouldn’t be a waitress if she can’t be polite to a family with kids or empathize. She was too busy thinking about herself. The food was mediocre at best and the waitress was a horrible. A smile could have changed the entire mood, learn how to interact with people as a waitress. Owner TALK TO THE WAITRESS and address the HORRIBLE attitude.
