Restaurant bewertenWorst experience ever, it was our first time trying a Toby carvery, the food was rock hard from sitting under the lamps for however many hours, dry with no flavour, the only tolerable thing to eat were the puds, so paid £15.98 for a pud, should’ve went to asda and brought a pack of puds and sat at home and ate them for less then £5, never coming here again.
I visited the restaurant on Friday, October 6th and had to wait a bit to be seated. I usually don't leave reviews, but I've been coming here for a few months and the food has gotten a lot better. The restaurant could use some air conditioning and more staff, but I would definitely come back with my friends.
The service in this restaurant is truly appalling. There was nobody available to seat us, we had to ask for drinks and nobody was available to pay the bill. The food was actually good. Nice meat and a great selection of vegetables. The servers did apologise and said they had a big party in but quite honestly, it’s no excuse. If you don’t have enough staff, don’t accept bookings. In this current economic climate, you need to do better Toby Carvery.
We came in and there were about 3 tables in and the woman said she couldn’t seat us. We said we were happy to have the carvery without the meat but she refused. Not happy ruined my day
I came in for lunch and was greeted by the manager at the front desk, who was absolutely fantastic. She asked if anyone had any allergies or dietary requirements, and since my daughter is lactose intolerant, she showed us everything she could eat from the menu and even offered to make some cauliflower without cheese sauce. She was an amazing person and really made a big fuss over my little girl, who absolutely loved it. Thank you for everything.
