Restaurant bewertenFull Disclosure: I spent 12 years in a city thats well known for its BBQ, so Im a self admitted BBQ Snob. Smoke House gets it right! Every time! The Brisket, either sandwich or plate, is tender, with the perfect amount of flavor. The sauce enhances it, but is not a requirement a mark of great BBQ! The Smoked Chicken Wings have been perfect the times Ive ordered them. Theyre cooked just right. The chef recommended the Jerk sauce, so thats been my default, but I know I need to try another. The sides Ive tried all have been amazing! The Cole Slaw was so fresh, flavorful and clearly homemade, and I have problems with so many cole slaws. Beans, usually not my go to, but good beans good BBQ and these were GOOD BEANS! Finally, the Collards and the Corn Bread also both were standouts. I am so glad I found Smoke House and look forward to continuing my plan of eating my way through their menu!
Look, Im from the south, just up here for work and wanted some bbq. It was rated pretty high so I figured Id try it. It was okay I guess. The sausage was eh, the brisket was bland and looked pretty sad. The sauces were eh. Its nothing like what I can get back home so maybe its good for the north but kinda weak to me. Not terrible though
Seriously one of my favorites places to get lunch from. What a true gem.
I get a 30 minute lunch, and this place is 15m away from work. Its worth it everytime, the ribs, the collard greens, the brisket.
This was our first time eating here and it did not disappoint. : Great portions and everything was delicious thanks!!!
