Restaurant bewertenThis was not a good experience. I did not like the look of the meals on other tables but as I had agreed to meet a friend there, I ordered juice and a 'home made ' sausage roll from the cabinet not usual food for me but I hoped it would be ok. It wasn 't. It looked grey and had a huge seed of some sort in it it really made me wonder what I was eating, so I decided not to risk it. The juice was average can you make a mistake with juice? I sat in the outside area because it seemed stuffy inside. The table had not been wiped and the area seemed dirty in general. Summary: Service okay. Food terrible. Ambiance none Didn 't risk the coffee. Worth a try? Definitely not.
Had lunch at Uncle Alberts yesterday, I ordered a all day breakfast bacon, hash brown, poached eggs, fried tomato and toast. The toast and bacon were ok the poached eggs were solid, the fried tomato was a shell of tomato, the hash brown was full of oil my black coffee was great it took around 25 minutes for the meal to arrive. My wife had falafal on toasted Turkish bread which wasn't toasted and she had integestion all afternoon. Uncle Albert's was a great place to eat (3years since my last visit) I think the place is in needs a shake up.
Very average all round. Service was adequate but dirty dishes were left on table for a long period of time. Eggs were overcooked for eggs Benedict, very disappointing to have hard boiled eggs on top of one slice ham, on one slice of bread. Breakfast burger was ok but I would try elsewhere next time!
Friendly service, good coffee, value for money, great location, varied menu, fantastic breakfasts.
Terrible excuse for nachos!. Sorry, Albert, but nachos aren 't made from stale corn chips, rich pasta sauce and un melted packet cheese. When I said at least you can 't go wrong with nachos I never thought I could be so wrong. These were barely edible. Fortunately, we also had a falafel wrap unfortunately, the hummus was that special invisible hummus and the falafels we 're made of flour. Not even chickpea flour. Never again. I think the only reason this place ever has customers is because Norwood isn 't exactly setting the standards for good food.
