Restaurant bewertenAlways love their beers and food. Good place to visit. However their breakfasts have gone terrible! rubber eggs!! It was all stodge! This needs looking into. Since the younger staff have started cooking here there food is steadily going down hill. They need to step it up if they want to keep their customers.
We visit at least twice a week , love the food and atmosphere. Some of the seats need cleaning and a better system for the service at the bar is needed, maybe one queue to go to whichever till is free, like in the banks, that would stop any queue jumping !
Regrets to say that last time in the wallaw it was still a cinema! the conversion to bar/restaurant was particularly sympathetic, which led to a stunning scene where the original screen was located. so the building and decoration is both historical and attractive, but during my visit was an unattractive peculiarity local children entering the foyer and then walking around in the toilets. eating is typical spoons tariff, imperceptible, but sufficient and cost-effective, and the menu offers a range of offered. worth visiting if only for the environment.
Good eating excellent ales at reasonable price. friendly staff
Been in The Wallaw tonight, ordered on the app and the member of staff who served us our drinks all night was really friendly and went the extra mile in making sure our drinks were what we wanted. He said his name was Luke and all I can say is I wish every member of staff working in a bar environment was as personal and as friendly as him, what an absolute star he is
