Espresso Alley - Northcote

I have been coming to this restaurant for about a year now, and while the coffee used to be good, there has been a noticeable decline in quality. The food, however, remains consistently good. Today I had the basic scrambled eggs on toast, which was as delicious as always. Unfortunately, the dessert and sweet snack selection seems to be stale and not fresh. I would recommend being cautious when ordering coffee and sticking to the reliable food options.

I love this restaurant for its great location, friendly service, and the best coffee in all of Melbourne. It's absolutely perfect. I have eaten here before and have never been let down. It's a wonderful spot for breakfast or just to grab a quick coffee, with good music and a relaxed atmosphere.

The coffee at this restaurant is well-made and the staff are friendly, but I found the standard blend to be a bit ordinary for my taste. I may try their single origin blend for a stronger coffee flavor. The food looks appetizing, but I have not had the chance to try it yet. I plan to give it a try next time I visit while I am working nearby.

Stumbled across here, and welcomed by great coffee and decent food well worth a visit. Service was fast, and friendly.

This café is a great find. It doesn’t look much from the front, but inside is a funky café with a great ambience. We had a breakfast meeting at during the week. The service is quick and friendly. Loved the coffee- excellent blend. I...had the mushrooms with a perfectly poached egg- which was amazing. Loved the pumpkin bread. My co-workers had smashed avocado- which was also lovely. Can’t wait to go back on the weekend- I’m sure it will be a favourite for the locals.
