The Sevens - Northampton

This pub is fantastic! The atmosphere is great, especially before and after the Rod Stewart concert at Cinch Stadium. It's just a 5-minute walk from the stadium, making it very convenient. The staff is lovely, friendly, and helpful.

While in the area, we were looking to catch the midweek football match. We stumbled upon this charming local pub and asked the owner which game was being shown on their large screen. The owner kindly switched the channels so that we could watch the match we were interested in. The staff were accommodating and friendly, and we will definitely be returning to this pub in the future.

This restaurant is a great budget-friendly option with excellent staff. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, more like a friend's home than a pub.

Excellent pub with great staff, I was here prior to going to a concert at Franklin Gardens, so it was very busy, but staff stayed happy and coped well

I visited on Saturday 29th June 2019 the night when Madness were performing locally so it was very busy. I always feel the job of a bar person is so difficult and challenging (its a job I am not capable of doing to much multi tasking, concentration and been attentive). When I visited it was hectic with each bar person having a distinct section to serve (divided by pillars). Having waited in a queue for approx 20 25 minutes I was about to be served but the youngish barman decided to leave hs area to serve in another section, but said I would be served next. This could be deemed as attentive service if he had noticed someone was been overlooked elsewhere HOWEVER what he did next was to stay in that section to serve several other people and leave the area with no serving staff even though approx 10 people were waiting to be served!!! I have been served in thousands of bars all over the world and have never met a more incompetent, stupid and annoying barman in my life (the Basil Fawlty of the pub trade). If this gentleman is contemplating advancing in the pub trade (or within any customer service area) I seriously think he needs to make a career change. The one star is for the serving of quick food like, pizza's and batches in the car park area really great idea (and great service fortunately the barman only worked inside the pub)
