Restaurant bewertenOrdered two drinks: 1. YAKULT GREEN TEA which was very bright and refreshing to drink! Loved that they was flavorful and not diluted as some other places make it (4.8 out of 5.0) 2. BUBBLE MILK TEA WITH OREO TRIFLE: being a dessert beverage, this trended on the sweeter side but its 100% sugar level was still acceptable to drink. I loved that they didn't over-blended the cookies into the drink, but instead added crushed cookie pieces. This meant that the Oreo flavor was still strong, but also allowed for added texture. Overall a very creamy version of the drink, making it feel lighter and airy as well. Last but not least, the tapioca was QQ and chewy! (4.9 out of 5.0)
I'm going to call this place the bubble tea plaza in the GTA. After my hearty meal for lunch on a sunny Tuesday afternoon, I decided it would of been great since I'm in the Scarborough area was to go get some bubble tea and where else to go other than Midland and finch area where they had this one plaza with a bunch of boba tea to choose from. I originally wanted a lemon mango slush drink because of the weather being quite hot and sunny out, but opted for the lemon black tea like the vita HK lemon tea that i can remember having as a kid. Ordered 2 drink and should of opted no sugar, but the lady with the yeezys on told me that it would of been quite sour, I had a brain fart and said to add a bit of sugar but come to realize that I always have lemon black tea without the sugar and it was bearable haha. They are situated between 2-3 boba tea shops next to each other, but this one had a cute graphical design that I had to come here and my friends told me it was pretty good from their past experience. I'll definitely come back to try their other flavours on the menu.
Their cream puff milk tea and oreo milk tea is my favourite!! Light, fluffy and flavourful!
It's a very clean place. It has free wifi. Supports apple pay. Wonderful selection of drinks. Not too expensive. I would love to come here again!
This review is for Happy Lemon's Taro Milk Tea. Happened to stop after being lured by a poster promising a taro milk tea special: milk tea with real taro paste and taro balls. Having not encountered too many bubble shops with real taro these days (maybe I don't venture out enough? I ordered this ASAP. While you're not able to change the sugar level, I found the sweetness to be just right--I usually opt for 25-30% sugar, and it didn't taste over-sweet. And despite being a little conservative with my toppings (usually getting tapioca or grass jelly only the taro balls was perfect with the taro milk tea both for texture and taste. By far this is my favourite bubble tea, and a must get whenever I'm in the area.
