Restaurant bewertenWe went for lunch as this was a great place for a tasty meal and view of the harbour. However the view has almost disappeared due to high rise building and my turkey sandwich & fries was ok? I have had better at this pub, not as tasty or fresh as it was on my previous experiences years ago! Staff member was friendly.
Stopped in for Birthday drinks and appies. Awesome wings! Great texture and flavor. Happy hour prices are good and Happy Hour ends at 6:30PM. Staff very friendly.
We have been here three times on our holiday time in Van. The people, staff here are great and friendly. They have live music and the place has a great atmosphere
Attention moron wanna be food critics, you are not reviewing Marco-Pierre White's newest SoHo restaurant and your gripes about the smallest possible quibbles are not needed. The Gull has been around longer than 90% of the restaurants in North Vancouver. Do you know why? Consistency. It pleases the people that actually care about it and doesn't care about your food blog #pleasestoptakingphotosofburgers. It definitely has a better breakfast than that dump of restaurant down off Marine that somehow rakes in poor, unsuspecting tourists in the hundreds. It has good live music, something sadly missing from most bars in North Van these days.I don't know, I feel I'm on a tirade here but get real people, it's an old, run down pub. The food is pretty good, the staff is pretty good, it's all pretty good. Like anything in life, just get to know it. The last thing we need is a soulless, corporate dump like Cactus Club or Joey's going up in it's place. People always want "character". Well character is formed from experiences, not all of them great. Come get some before this landmark is blown apart while I sit and watch and have a beer.
Came after work with my hubby to grab a few drinks, some wings and to catch the jays game. Our first time and our last.Service was awful, no smiles, no customer service and attitude for days.Ordered our first drink, never asked for a second or given a food menu. Asked to switch one of the low defenition 1990 tvs to the jays game and was quite the ordeal and seemed to be of real annoyance to the bartender.Thankfully we came right around shift change. With the lack of service and empty glasses we were about to track down the bartender to pay and a new waitress came over. Much friendler, brought drinks quickly and offered us food and a menu. She was the only reason we stayed, the day time bartender should find a new career not dealing with the public.Good wings
