Restaurant bewertenOn Fridays, the restaurant is very busy and there may be a wait to be seated. However, the food more than makes up for the wait. I tried the chicken biryani with raita and green chutney and it was really delicious. The lamb seekh kebab was also quite large, although I wish they gave at least two kebabs on one plate. The gaajar ka halwa was warm and the right level of sweetness, but it had a different texture than what I'm used to. Overall, it's a good place for family dining. The servers are good and humble. I really loved their Goat Biryani, which was cooked Karachi style with bone marrow and a limited amount of spices. It was a refreshing change from the typical spicy North Indian biryani. I also enjoyed the cumin raita that came with it. The plain chicken curry was nice, with pieces of chicken in a tomato, ginger garlic gravy with a few spices. They also offer a variety of delicious kulfi flavors. The restaurant is halal and complimentary chai is offered. The service is really good.
This restaurant may not be fancy, but the food is truly authentic and amazing. If you're craving authentic Indian/Pakistani cuisine, you'll find yourself coming back again and again. They serve the best mutton and goat dishes in the Bay Area - trust me, I've tried plenty. If you appreciate the distinction between mutton (goat) and lamb, and prefer mutton, this is the place for you.

We absolutely adore Karimi! My partner and I have been regulars for nearly two years now, and every visit has been consistently excellent. We can always count on a delicious meal and leaving with satisfied appetites. The owners and staff are exceptional, always ensuring that we feel well taken care of and providing outstanding service. Their genuine care for their customers and the high quality of the food truly shines through.
Average place to eat Indian food. Quiet clean place, with friendly staff and traditional Indian food favorites. They still serve you your food on disposable plates which it's not the best experience, especially with the silverware, but understandable for COVID19 precautions. The food is a little greasy (more than average). I recommend you ask for a portion of rice or appetizer to be satisfied after you finish your meal. For lunch, I had: Navratan Qorma (mixed Vegetable cooked using onion tomatoes with cream and cashew nuts) Chicken Tikka Masala (Chunks of spicy marinated chicken pieces. grilled in a tandoor and finished in a creamy tomato sauce) Butter Naan Tandoori Roti If you are looking for an affordable place to have Indian food with no rush/long wait this cloud be a good option
