Great food and very cheap. waitstaff was very friendly/ family atmosphere with the usual regular. had books for the children to read inside with child menus to occupy them during the waiting period. amazing experience. many thanks.

Really good chicken steak. we try wherever we go, and this one has not disappointed. the heavy is really good. pancakes are huge as well as cookies and gravy portion. in any case recommend when u r through this city.

Absolutely the quintessential classic dinner experience! the waitress reminds me of the family and eating is solid! Absolutely go to breakfast and they are open early. this is the place for dinner that will remind you of the home kitchen of her oma!

Fun collection of coffee sauces, real creamer and hot coffee. we have a good start. local location with local color. even an outsider is treated like a native and can feel like home. she asked our waitress what she recommended, and she didn't put anything on the menu. the scrambler! the scrambler is the loaded hashbrowns (ordered my extra crispy) with two eggs to order, two pieces toast and one meat side. I got speck (four strips,) and my buddy got the sausage patty I was jealous right away! it made a famous Burger-Kettenburger look like a slide. super good breakfast, super good coffee and great smiles from customers and employees. a great way to start the day in north plate.

This place is awesome! We stopped here on a whim while driving through nebraska on our way back to illinois and we were amazed! Its cute abd cozy inside but there areplenty of tables. The pancakes were the star of the meal, they are massive flapjack style cakes and very hearty and delicious this was a treat one of the best pancakes weve ever had. I liked the biscuits and gravy they were tender and gravy wasnt salty! Seemed like a chill breakfast spot for the locals.
