Restaurant bewertenThe food was disappointing, we had to wait 45 minutes for 2 breakfasts and when they finally arrived, they were lukewarm and lacked flavor. The staff were terrible - when we inquired about our order, it seemed like they had forgotten about it.
On February 19th, 2022, my husband and I visited a restaurant at Sainsbury's. I ordered a sausage in a roll and unfortunately got food poisoning, which ruined my weekend plans to catch up with my family. I will not be returning to Sainsbury's in Letchworth Garden City again.
The café is mediocre, with average coffee and tea, and slightly greasy breakfast options. However, the biggest issue is the poor management of the entire store. Although I enjoy their ready meals, I am often disappointed by the half-empty shelves, particularly in the vegetable and salad sections. The staff is impolite, noisy, and lack awareness of social distancing practices. They frequently engage in idle chatter, and even the security guard spends most of his time on Facebook. Despite my appreciation for the food, I no longer visit due to the disrespectful staff, inadequate stock supplies, and overall poor customer service. It is surprising that a company like Sainsbury's has not addressed these issues by now. The café's reputation suffers due to the shop staff's behavior, which is a shame because the café staff have always been good.
I witnessed a worker trying to address an incident involving a car in the Morrison's parking lot. The worker was given the auto license plate number, but did not ask for my details. I am willing to provide a statement if needed. The car was seen in the parking lot 15 minutes later with different drivers and passengers inside.
Great variety of clothing options, beautiful store, and the cafe is fantastic for dining!
