Restaurant bewertenI always make sure to stop by this restaurant when I'm in town and have some free time. The owner, Lucy, is amazing and always greets you warmly. The food is mouth-watering and prepared fresh just for you. The prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend dining here.
The staff although friendly were a bit disorganised. The prices are very reasonable for the area and the coffee is nice. However the whole place looks like it needs a revamp or at the very least a jolly good clean and spruce up.
My husband and myself took our granddaughter for afternoon tea. My granddaughter had a sausage sandwich and a coke, also helped us eat our afternoon tea. The staff were very nice and friendly. We had a lively cup of coffee and had to wait for our afternoon tea. The lady bought over the afternoon tea on a two plate cake stand. The sandwiches were nice and fresh, no scones as they said people don't like them. The cakes were awful, very bland and very dry, not much variety as shown on the Groupon photo. We ended up taking most of the cakes home to feed the birds. This was the worst afternoon tea we have had, we have had many. Also Royston is a very hard place to find a parking place. Would we book again, sorry no.
A warm welcome always awaits you here with Lucy and Dawn it's so popular and I love going here for a latte and a teacake this place is very popular with the retired folk and is a regular meeting place for them, so great for catching up with friends and having a laugh. Not many nice places left like this
I recently enjoyed a satisfactory black coffee at this restaurant. The dishes I observed others eating looked generous in size and very appetizing.
