State Street Cafe - North Haven

This restaurant/café has wonderful food and great service every time we left. The place is well maintained and kept clean. Prices are more than reasonable and a goh and a good place to eat a quick bite. They are also known for their pancakes because they are so large that they cover the entire plate.

Excellent food and even better service, they’re fast and friendly! Would definitely come back here anytime I’m in the area! Breakfast was delicious and the coffee is great too!

Always spectacular! This has become our go to place for great breakfast and sandwiches. Everything is always excellent. So many choices, yet everything we’ve tried has been really good. Would highly recommend!

Really nice food. The proportions were very large. Waiting was a little long, but it was worth it. The Boom Boom Chicken was really good and tasty together with the Fritten amazingly seasoned. We also have other dishes. The Tres leches Banane French toast, which was good, but too sweet and the bread was very muddy. We have other dishes that were good. It was very salty. If u want good food and great proportions, I recommend this place safely!

We came on a tip on the Nextdoor app that said it was the best breakfast place in New Haven. As a breakfast, I had to try! The staff was very friendly, the prices were fair, and the menu was both for breakfast and extensive lunch. The Gries were particularly delicious, like my green Omelet and French toast. Cosy local atmosphere not a posh hipster brunch place with crazy lines. Very recommended!
