Poke Cafe - North Charleston

We ordered one of the special bowls, the volcano bowl it was delicious. Contained a lot of protein and packed a spicy kick. We tried 3 different sushi rolls and each one was great. The ingredients tasted fresh and they provided plenty of delicious sauces. We were so excited to start eating that I forgot to take pictures.

This is such a great place I am sorry to leave a bad review. The sushi upset my stomach very very bad. I did not feel well at all after eating here.Besides that, inside is clean and the staff is very nice. I’m sorry to leave this review but I do have to be honest.

Ordered off Uber Eats. Restaurant didn't cancel the order and accepted it. However, when the courier arrived, the restaurant was closed and it was far too late for us to order something else that was comparable. If you can't take orders past a certain time, then you should raise your cutoff hour on the app to an hour early. This was a waste of time and left everyone annoyed; won't come here in person or order poke again from this spot.

The food was just so so. One certainly is paying for sushi grade tuna and salmon- without having sushi grade quality. The food was not fresh. The bubble tea was even worse. The seven dollar tea tasted how popurri smells. I couldn't even drink my tea. Josiah asked for his own. Thinking a different flavor would be better. He got the strawberry and it was even worse. Then there was a worker that smelled so bad of month balls, it was tough to stand next to her. This was my birthday meal to myself. I blew $60.00 on myself and Josiah....2 PEOPLE...and I threw it in the trash.

If you’ve had poke before, this place will disappoint. The small portion was not at all worth $17 for one bowl. I am pregnant and can’t eat raw fish… they were out of tofu so I asked if I could get some avocado for a protein. Nope, have to pay extra. Even though I’m already paying for protein that I can’t have/didn’t get. Also had to pay extra for seaweed salad and only got like a tablespoon. Poor service.
