Restaurant bewertenTia's cafe is the best best best restaurant in cairns! deep fried whole fish and pork fried rice was AMAZING. defo going back to this restaurant when i go back to cairns. all the staffs are so nice and friendly. after having dinner, the owner closed the restaurant and offered my sister and me a ride but we already called a didi. she didn't go, she waited for a didi together for our safety. but the didi driver suddenly cancelled our trip and the owner gave us a ride to our destination. it was a rainy day, thanks to her we were able to get there without getting wet. thank you for the best memory and the best food.
Phone wasn’t working both nights we came here, but arrived around 8pm both times and only had to wait 10-15mins for food. It’s next door to a grocer, so popped in there while waiting and got some shopping. The food from Tias was fresh, very tasty and generous. Friendly staff and well priced. Would definitely return here when I’m back in Cairns, the rest of the menu looked delicious!
Our first dining when we arrived in Cairns, and add on 2 more visits on a 5 day holiday trip that says alot!. Love the food. We ordered fish and chips, pork fried rice and soft shell crab. Food is freshly cooked and fast! My second visit was for a takeaway, there was a line and it was packed, the guy came up to me in the line and asked for my order and said I could pay later when the food is ready. He updated me on how long I was to wait so I was fully informed which I appreciated. If you plan to dine in, you might want to reserve a space as the place can be packed! Thank you for making it a great experience for us.
You only know how good she is once you have taken.the first bite of your food, and if it comforts you, locally, she is a food celebrity, know for dishing out food that's fabulous and covered by many newspapers. Portions are huge and thus the prices seem steep but worth the quality and taste. Their seafood pad hai was selfish, and very unusual from what we have tried in the past. Also, their green curry was lesser on the sweet side yet packed punch, flavors and meat. Definitely among the best Thai food we have eaten in Australia. This one too is run by the family and they are warm and welcoming. One note of advice that we will give to any seafood lover is, If you are in Queensland don't miss out on Seafood. It's the best you'll find.
Visited here on Saturday 14th of May for dinner. We shared a Chicken Pad Thai and a Yellow Beef Curry. The food was excellent , the best Thai meal we have had for many years and we frequently eat at Thai restaurants in Perth . The service was friendly and prompt , if you are in Cairns this is a great place to eat Thai food.
