Shuckers Dockside Grill

I have been to this restaurant several times before in the past. This particular night we asked for an appetizer but it came out with the food. We wanted to return it but were told by the manager, Rich, that we could not. The wings were stale and burnt to a crisp. Had ordered two dozen. They tasted like if they had been sitting there for hours. The wings were also not taken off the ticket. We were intending to pay for what we ate but not the appetizer or the wings. Instead of pleasing the customer and apologizing for the stale wings he said if we did not pay for them he would call the cops. He ended up calling the cops!! He yelled at us in front of the restaurant and made a whole debacle out of nothing. We are all young professionals at the table and have never experienced such horrendous service before. If you truly want to be appreciated as a customer and have good food go somewhere else. I do not know what happened over there but management needs to value it's customers and not treat them as criminals!

A friend recommended this spot, I when because it was a great chill spot I took the family and friends and men the services we got, I mean the little services that we got was horrible! after we were told to wait to be seated 40 minutes it ended up been 2 hours, The only reason we stay because it is in a great place but from the Manager on down they did not care about us and made my night a leaving hell, will never go to this place even if it is free! God help then.

The best food, drinks, service and atmosphere. I was here about a year or so ago, and made the 4+ hour drive to come back to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel is nice. I've never had a bad experience at a Best Western, but having Shuckers right downstairs is why we came back for 4 days/3 nights. If you're like me and don't get excited over a hamburger, try the Crazy Burger! My absolute favorite is the steamed clams: you get 18 for $10.95, and they're done in a lemony butter sauce with diced tomatoes and served with garlic bread wedges YUMMMMMYYYYY!!! The beer is cold, the food is hot, and the wait staff is right there to tend to your every need. Even the management was friendly. I would recommend this place to anybody, and we will definitely be back!

After visiting Shuckers many times over the years this place consistently delivers high quality food. Love the free parking for my car or my boat. Huge docks for all size boats. I hear a new awning will accommodate even more diners in all weather!

I enjoy Shuckers because of the music and opportunity to sit back and enjoy the company of friends. The food is not my stuff, but if you like fried and other similar fare; it may be just your thing. A good place to hang out and they bring in good live music.
