Il Vesuvio - Niort

Arrived late in Niort and found many restaurants either very full or closing after a busy night , there were 12 in our party so squeezing us in was tricky , this was done by Vesuvio , pushing tables together and accommodating us without fuss and with good humour. We ordered simple Mussels and frites, accompanied by regional wine and were not disappointed.the atmosphere was great and the staff so friendly and helpful it was a wonderful start to our holiday.

Server with high, fast, listening and humor. Very good dish, small attentions and homemade, delicious!

A friendly welcome and care. A varied and excellent cuisine, all the delightful guests (Delicious foie gras, warm calf blanquette, gourmet coffee for me) . Restaurant very well held. A good time.
