Really enjoyed dining here. I had roast lamb and potatoes - was a large serving and delicious. My parent had roast pork and salad, was also delicious. Nice atmosphere too.
We found this restaurant very average. The meat was good but the roast potatoes were very salty and the ratatouille was mushy. Not what we expected at all and it was pricey. Staff were friendly but there are nicer restaurants in the old town to try so I would give this place a miss.
I've eaten here a while ago a number of times. This time they were not full at all but the service was terrible. So slow I was offered water as I wasn't drinking but it arrived after the food about 30 mins since I ordered. There was no bread basket, I don't eat bread so no big deal BUT thePortions were so small bread or a more substantial portion of ratatouille would have sufficed. Two slices of pork cut in half to make four pieces. A very skinny runny and, in my opinion, not good ratatouille was the only side. 16.50 euro for two slices of nice pork with a small sub standard side is not good value it's such a cool place and it used to be better. Shame but a regular supply of tourists can ruin a good place. Pleaser restore yourOld standards of service and quality.
If your'e in Nice and have a craving for meat, you could do worse than going to this place. Cute little restaurant with a clear focus on meat with a few sides. My girlfriend and I both had the roast beef with mashed potatoes. Delicious in a home cooked kind of way. Very satisfying. Not the most romantic or atmospheric restaurant but they really do meat well. Good value. I would return.
