Sparks Steak House - Niagara

This is not a tourist restaurant - we were looking for somewhere nice to eat and was delighted to come across Sparks. It was early in the evening about 5:00pm and not very busy. I believe it only opens at 4:00pm. Our server was excellent and explained the menu well. If the adults had a main course of cover $21, children eat free. My husband and I had the sirloin Steak - cooked medium-rare - very nice steak, with a glass of the house Merlot. My son had the shaved prime rib - which he really enjoyed. I would recommend this restaurant for people who want to get away from the tourism in Niagara and have a great meal

Just had dinner there and were thrilled it was not a touristy style restaurant but truly a fine, classic dinner restaurant! We had such a great evening (and thank you to our waiter who was a plethora of knowledge and history and truly entertaining and kind...sorry I cannot recall the name of our waiter...am bad with names!).Our French Onion soup was delish (and not salty at all0. The bread was amazing. Loved the steak and salmon salad too! Thanks for a really perfect evening and we are so glad that we found this great restaurant!!!

Well my wife and I stopped in after seeing the hostess outside with a menu.

Fantastic steaks. The filet is amazing rare. Not over cooked. Great menu options. Friendly staff.
