Restaurant bewertenI was looking for a place to dinner with my friends after spending the day at Sesame Place with our kids. I saw food pictures of this restaurant and they look pretty good. So we decided to give this place a try. Big parking lot right outside. Clean and a bit upscale looking and fusion feel to me. Other authentic Korean restaurants I?ve been to would have welcome you with multiple side dishes once you sit down, this place does not. We have a big party: 5 adults, 4 todds and young kids (1.5yo 4yo+ , and a newborn in baby carseat. We were quickly seated with a very patient and friendly waitress. Their food taste pretty good to me. Not bad at all. They currently doesnt have a sushi chef, so you cant even order sushi right now. The pork belly bun vs the bulgogi bun, I would choose the pork belly bun. My daughter loves udon, but because the udon soup base is spicy, so I request to switch the udon soup to ramen soup instead. I personally like the Gopdol rice with sashmi that serves in a hot clay pot. I would return again if I am around the area. One negative side note was the women?s bathroom was out of order when I was there. And also both men or women bathroom doesnt have a diaper changing station, so this place isnt too kids friendly when it comes to that.
The two korean dishes we ordered tasted really bad and it costed nearly $45. It doesn?t taste authentic korean food, the food was uncooked and served as if they were from some other menu. Bibimbap sauce was disappointing and unappetizing.
Fantastic modern Korean cuisine. I highly recommend their spicy Korean spicy fried chicken. Absolutely one of the best things on the menu. Their food is a lot better than some of the Korean restaurants I've been to around the Edison or Oxford Valley area. Their sushi is also fresh and good quality. You can tell by the filling to rice ratio. A lot of places tend to just fill up their sushi with rice, not here. I would also highly recommend you come on a weekday. The weekends can get so crazy and it gets pretty loud in there. Even with reservations I've had to wait awhile so I've mostly just gone on weekdays. Staff is kind and attentive. Their cocktails are also worth every penny.
After sitting for 30 minutes, no one came to assist us or take our order. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for even basic restaurant service. We were very disappointed. Instead, I would suggest choosing Mt. Fuji, which is nearby.
We dined at this restaurant last night, and it will be our last visit. I can see them going out of business soon, especially since three other restaurants in the mall have already closed down. We initially ordered sushi, only to find out they no longer serve it. Then we inquired about their special salads on the menu, only to learn they aren't available either. The shrimp tempura was also off the menu. We ended up ordering Galbi, which was disappointing, and the Bok Choy tasted overwhelmingly salty. After settling the bill, we left and have no plans to return.
