Restaurant bewertenThe food is divine, especially the prepared foods, very healthy and exquisitely delicious!
I had a wonderful and unique sandwich from their food truck at SOWA on a Sunday. It was their honey truffle goat cheese on focaccia, tons of surprising flavor, including the crunchy sweet walnuts and the balsamic vinaigrette on the greens--not to mention truffle in their goat cheese spread. Wasn't expecting something spectacular from this food truck but there it was.
The cappuccino I received was made like a latte, milk was not steamed correctly. They also may have used a dirty filter or something but the coffee taste very heavy, grainy, bitter. The chocolate chip cookie was ok in texture (crispy outside, soft inside), the flavor was off and it tasted on the brink of being burnt. The chicken and goat cheese sandwhich was disappointing. The chicken isn’t slicley thined, it tasted like a salad in a sandwhich. The vingarette was flavorless, taste just of oil lemon, too many greens, not enough goat cheese and the chicken was dry and not flavlorful. Just overpriced for mediocre quality. It also seemed like the workers were being over worked and exhausted.
A little gem for great food made by people who care about the ingredients.Glad this is local to me.
The Dining Car is fantastic! This is a great local spot in Newton Highlands. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable, too. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.
