Incredibly delicious sushi served with warm hospitality in a charming location. Each time we've visited, we've enjoyed exceptional food and service. Everything is great, but the special rolls are a must-try. Yum! We’re definitely coming back! Update: Although we've moved out of town, we made it a point to visit again seven months later, and this restaurant was at the top of our list for our first day back. We experienced the same fantastic food and outstanding service as always. Our server even remembered us, which was such a nice touch!

I've eaten at Sakana twice, and I think it's fantastic! The food is incredibly fresh and delicious, all beautifully presented. I loved my experience there and will definitely be returning!

Newly opened, family operated sushi restaurant in Newport. I ordered The Ocean and everything was fresh and light. I ate enough but didn 't feel heavy sluggish like after some places that over sauce flavor their food to compensate for quality. Happy hour menu had good prices. Vegan options available. I accidentally ate the other stuff before I remembered to take quick pics for a review ¯ (ツ) ¯

The Ocean Omakase style sushi experience was wonderful, tasty and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and professional. Atmosphere was relaxed. Will come back again soon!

One of our favorite sushi spots! The fish always tastes incredibly fresh, and the toppings are simply delightful. We really enjoy their selection of unique rolls! We love coming here knowing we're in for a special treat!
