Barge Inn Tavern - Newport

For a beer late. I had spiced and everyone had a drink. It's really clean and bright. Beautiful attentive waitress who could answer questions about the beers offered.

Very little tavern! Madison was so welcoming and personal! We will definitely come back! Great time!

A bar is a pub is a tavern, until you enter the Barge Inn Tavern. The first thing you'll notice is the attitude of the staff. They are all smiling and happy to greet you. They are helpful and patient to knew visitors and their burgers are excellent and inexpensive.

I can't believe it has taken us so long to try the new improved Barge Inn. We went last Friday for a burger and drink. The place was clean and bright with great service. We received our drink and food fast, and the bacon burger and onion rings were delicious. The bacon on the burger was crisp and all the toppings were fresh. It was so great that we decided to go back for lunch this week. Again we had great fast service and delicious burgers. We love the Clearwater burgers but also enjoy this style of burger esp for fast lunch or with a drink.

This place could be appealing but they need to tweak a few things. For one, the service sucked: some new guy who seemed very unobservant was our server, I had to flag him down for literally every interaction. The burgers look really good, I have to say. I might try a burger here someday to go. The lighting is too bright, it's not cozy. and their swag gift shop with overpriced hats and **** dominates half of one corner. Why do so many places think that people want to pay to advertise for them?
