Napoli Centrale - Newcastle

Decided to drop in on a Sunday night and they had a live band playing, ordered a gorgeous pasta dish with pork and fennel sausage, delicious and had a lovely aperol Spritz to take me back to Italy .... then went across the road to Popolo for Gelato ... which is as good as any I had in Italy ... 10/10 meal, closest thing to an actual Italian pizza I've had in Newcastle. 4 vegan options. Metre long pizzas. Can't wait to go back.

Completely understand why this place is always packed now and we should have had a reservation. These are very traditional style Italian pizzas where less is more so they can let the flavours sing to you. The best pizzas I have ever had are always on a fresh base and the combination of toppings are sensational. If you don't walk out in a food coma you're not at the right place then.
