West End Grill - Newcastle

Great small little diner, the waitress was very friendly, and the prices were affordable. Knocked a couple of points off for the locals staring the entire time we ate.

Checked out the place when we visited a few months back and it was amazing! Really high quality food and nice staff. If you go to Newcastle, this place is a must-try!

Good service, not so much for the food. My $12 Philly Cheese Steak was the size of a slider. Good taste, but not worth $12. Was supposed to be served on a hoagie bun. My sweet potato fries lacked flavor and it seems to me they were frozen, not fresh. My wife’s chicken quesadilla was all tortilla. Pic attached. It looked impressive when served large until we looked inside.

If you like little family owned diners with great home cooked meals, this is a perfect place! We had breakfast and it was very good! Big servings!

I like a good small town diner and this fit the bill perfectly. Good food, good service and friendly people.
